Umm... some instructions would be nice. All I ended up doing was just running into Mirror Man and staying there until I died. The music also is kinda annoying with the vocals. However, it is quality enough to be considered a good game. Just please next time include some instructions without having the player giving a clueless guess.

DarkDeco responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I added brief instructions to the introductory comments. Pretty standard up and down arrow key movement. I never got around to adding an instructions page, as originally this was a 4 stage concept, and the gameplay would have varied slightly on a couple of those stages. Idealistically, something like that would've been included. I was never able to work out some bugs with this stage (the Mirror entity's properties needed to be properly changed) and the intro (weird double-start glitch, if you only click once it doesn't recognize that you're still on the page until you click again), and the second stage proved quite problematic to code. My ActionScript is very so-so.

Simple concept, not too difficult. The instructions were very clear and I overall liked the backgrounds.
Speaking of the backgrounds can you PLEASE tell me where you found that Super Smash Brothers wallpaper? It looks so dope but I also can't look at it long enough because I have to focus on the game.

Thanks for 5 stars.

The art style was very MS Paint like. Almost to the point where it could be replicated. I didn't understand the point of the girl having purple hair. Grammar is also essential. Call me a Grammar Nazi but sentences such as "I'm breaking up w/ you", "y u do dis?", and "do you even lift bro?" make a poor appearance on "a very serious stick-man game". Capitalization could also be used.
Now, for the gameplay it was really short, but it was a bit of a challenge. There could've been an end cut scene perhaps as well. It's promising, but I wouldn't consider it a finished game.

terlx9 responds:

The bad grammar was intentionally added for humor, but I'll take that into consideration next time!
Thanks for the review, it really helps! :)

Ehh.. it was alright. The backgrounds were too plain, and the game was so insanely easy. Also I feel the text on the controls were too spaced or too merged. Like 'balance left' looked like 'bal ance left'. I'm kind of neutral about if the game should be saved or blammed. Props on that NG vehicle tho.

Thank you , let's update as soon as possible.

I hope this gets saved dude. Not only was the art style good but it was also hilarious. The only thing I suggest is adding controls to either the game or the description. It took me a bit to find out the arrow keys were to move the hand and spacebar was for throwing. Other than that, thanks for the medals and this was really good for your first time developing.

DArtRebelAlex responds:

Yea, I meant to do that, sorry. Will do it now.
Thank you! ;D

It's a promising game to say at the least. It's not that bad for being beta so I just have a few suggestions for the full version:
1. Is there a way to change controls? I don't like using WASD controls.
2. Could you make team ai? I don't have a friend much less 4 to play this game with me.
3. 5 players seems a bit excessive. Just saying.
Overall, it's a pretty good idea, and I had fun playing it.

ZombieWolfdotNet responds:

Thank you for your response. Just some info, the controls will stay the same for some technical reasons. But, we are making AI for this game!

I had no idea what to do. There were no instructions, I didn't even know the 2 blocks standing there was the player, it looked like a camera. The human's graphics were just awful. I do agree with the fact 75 is a lot to get as rare as food falls down, but it is an original concept and deserves a couple stars for effort. Also I agree with you on thaidanh526, I can't stand when I see one-word reviews with 0 stars.

harmlessrage responds:

There is a how to play button on the main menu. So you not knowing what to do is on you. I do admit that the graphics are not good and the instructions could have been fleshed out more.

This is actually a really good fighting game. However, one thing I didn't like is there were no control options. For being an arrow key player my whole life it was not easy playing with wasd control. That and the attack buttons just made it awkward. I did love the Bob Ross stage though, and the animation + graphics are really nice. It's just not friendly towards an arrow key player.

shotgun06 responds:

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm sorry about the control scheme being for left-handed players, I'll try to update this game with customizable controls as soon as possible.

Some dubstephile who tries his hand at making his own. I also help out reporting stolen stuff to the Audio Portal Cleanup thread. Hablo espaƱol. Pero, no soy perfecto.
