What software was this made on exactly? I assume FL.
I don't think I need to explain what's good about this song, it's just really epic. It captures a forest theme, which I assume the game us about?
Also, to loop things you just push the down arrow on Music - Song and change it go Music - Loop.

Thanks for the review !
Nope, this was made on GarageBand, I'm waiting for FL Studio to be available on Mac, I'll buy it as soon as it's possible (I'm a rich guy :3) !
Glad you liked it, in fact the game isn't really about forests but about a suicidal poor guy who destroys everything around him ! X)
Thanks again, and now I know how to loop things thanks to you ! =3

After looking through your songs I realized mostly you produce House tracks. Now normally I dislike House but this wasn't too bad. The piano part is what keeps the spirit of this track strong.

Also, in response to your other review SMG is my favorite Wii game as well.

Lockyn responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed this track despite your disliking house! I love piano so I'm happy you liked that part. I do produce melodic dubstep and future bass and electro house as well, so perhaps you would like those better (edit: I know you reviewed Lucent so maybe you would like Soulwind as well!). SMG was great!

I keep wanting to give 6 stars but Newgrounds won't let meh D:<
This was actually really awesome. One of those you can guarantee its a good song when you listen to the beginning. I don't get what BeeFef was saying, I think this counts as dubstep. Melodic and modern are two different things. This also gives me nostalgic vibes towards Super Mario Galaxy. I also like how you respond to every review you get, shows dedication towards your fans.

Lockyn responds:

Aww, thanks for trying anyways.
Thank you mate. I really appreciate your feedback, and I'm glad you got those vibes - Super Mario Galaxy was one of my favorite games on the Wii (right behind Metroid Prime Corruption). I try my best to stay connected, I enjoy it and besides, I owe it to you all for your fervent support. Cheers mate :)

I don't usually leave descriptive reviews like this, so it definitely goes to show I want to help. First off, your main problem with dubstep is your build-ups are really good but the drops aren't as great. The first drop didn't show much of a percussion until 1:22. Just a couple steps scattered around. Not that I'm saying every drop has a percussion but it is something to experiment with. The wobble noise was weird, and while dubstep does contain weird noises it could be revolutionized a bit more. Lastly the noise at 4:08 seemed unfit. Not knowing how new you are to audio making, it's okay to not be perfect on your first tries. The dubstep artists I listen to have years of practice and experience, even their first songs weren't the best compared to now. So don't give up, because if you continue to study and play around you can really go places. Everyone gets better each new thing they create. This was better than Jungle War. It captured a theme, and the later drops were better. For the next one you make it wouldn't hurt to play around with filters a little, since I didn't notice any in either track. There's also some drum and synth samples for dubstep as well. Send me a pm and maybe I can help. Overall, I do think you have potential. Also, was I supposed to hear 'sh*t' at 1:08? lol

KaixoMusic responds:

Thanks for your review, This is my 2nd Dubstep song ever, so yeah, I need to learn a lot more. And yes there's a 'sh*t' at 1:08 :D Just some change... In the third drop you can hear that part how it was before I changed it to this.

Jungle War is too much of a misleading title, this doesn't remind me anything about a jungle. I recommend using bongo drums or maracas. If you have FL Studio 12 you can locate it in Ogun. The drop seemed to pan to the left a lot more than the right, and it made me a bit uncomfortable. I wasn't a big fan of the drop, I kept hearing an airhorn. However the build-up wasn't bad, and you deserve a good score for trying. Listen to my stuff and you'll know how much worse I am lol.

KaixoMusic responds:

Thanks for your review, I have another dubstep song (Alien Robot), if you mind checking that one out, and giving a review. It would really help :D

I'll check out your music some time when I have the time :D

I'm not sure how to judge voice acting because I'm never here. It was pretty good except for the beginning, that and I could hear background noise.
Also, what does this have to do with RobTop teaming up with NG? @Andymon

Jmagnum responds:

:P it's just a fun little thing I did. The background noise would be my loud as fuck computer fan. Thank you though :)

I was confused about what that was as well. Apparently there's a game which allows people to make their own levels and use music from Newgrounds for the game. "music" in my case as this was used by someone for a level lol

I was a little disappointed the melody between 0:00-0:20 was only used once throughout the entire song, it didn't even come back during the silent part..
The beginning and ending was perfect but everything in between was a bit meh.

Geoplex responds:

It's an oldie :P thanks, though!

Some dubstephile who tries his hand at making his own. I also help out reporting stolen stuff to the Audio Portal Cleanup thread. Hablo espaƱol. Pero, no soy perfecto.
