Seriously?

I never have any intentions to start drama on this site. But, is this dude going to sit here and say we're not allowed to say his songs are bad? I feel like every time this guy makes a news post he's whining something about his audio, but this idiotic statement is not someting I can let go. @MonsterboyGD blocked me, so I can't comment this on his post, but if you aren't blocked by him and you could find a way to tell him this it'd be great, because here's my response:

If you're going to tell people they can't say your songs are bad, boy you have a dissapointment coming your way. Because, on this site, if people think your stuff is bad they're going to tell you. I have 2 people now who think I deliberately troll the audio portal, this is not the place people are going to refrain from their thoughts. If you want people to lie to you and say your tracks are good, go back to kindergarten where people will accept your work how it is. And you want to know what flares me up the most? The fact that I found a 0 star review on your review tab that says "this song sucks like trash" but you have the audacity to type on a public news post "you cant say my songs are bad because it hurts my feelings :((((((". Grow up, dude. At least you're able to get feedback. On other sites people will tell you it's trash rather than on here you have a higher probability of recieving an in-depth review that could possibly help you in the future. Yeah, music making is not easy. I've been making tracks for a year now and I'm still self-loathing and I lack many skills. Nobody said it was easy, but I feel criticism is more helpful than someone lying and saying your tracks are good when they're not. And, I also know for a fact you didn't make every track you uploaded but those are removed so no need to worry.

I think I've said enough. But, if the title of your post is true. Let me tell you that nobody is going to want to be your friend if you dominate what literary freedom they have. It just doesn't work that way.

I saw your comment. Monsterboy says a lot of things that annoys me, but that post was just pathetic. I mean I was a little whiny when I first started but I'm at least trying to make an effort, he just makes 1 note songs and calls it good. He reminds me of DoubleDenial, another user who can't take criticism for the life of him. He also blocked me lol

There's such a thing as being nice, but there's a difference between being nice and completely holding your hand and cuddling you. This guy seems to want someone who will just fond over everything he makes. The guy lacks intelligence, considering he tried talking to M-Bot when M-Bot isn't a real user, just a computer program. So, I don't know why I'm acting surprised that he'd cry over some comments like he did.

He probably is going to block you, dude will block you for giving him a 4.5 star review

I actually reported a few of his tracks. I believe in one of his tracks he borderline admitted that he didn't make the track. But he must think no one's going to know that. Just like @troPSNDOURGWEN thinks no one's going to know he's a former audio thief. I do believe his newer tracks are legit, but they have talking in the background and it's a bit annoying.

Criticism is necessary for a musician to grow. I noticed that he also isn't scouted to the audio portal, imagine if his stuff hit that swirling vortex, he'd be criticized all over. That being said, there is a difference between criticism and being an asshole, I've seen both on here. Saying something like "this song is shit" or "sounds like some guy's first time in garage band" doesn't help anyone. But adding input on a track to help producers grow is necessary, it's how people learn. But hey if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen I say.

The thing is, for a short time he was scouted. He got revoked the same reason I did a while back, his stuff wasn't good enough.

And yes, thank you, I think feedback is really essential. Someone the other day told me I shouldn't rely on feedback for every single project I make. I disagree.

I usually just ignore hateful reviews or laugh them off. If you're not going to tell me what's wrong with the track, don't waste my time. I don't know what kind of feedback Monsterboy received, but I'm assuming by what Troisnyx said some of the users were actually trying to help him. He just can't accept that. Similar to DoubleDenial.

If that's the worst you've seen, I should link you to the page on the audio portal cleanup thread where he had a complete mental breakdown. He wouldn't report some of the stolen submissions that he knows are on the audio portal, and when the moderators told him he was wasting their time Monsterboy just lost it. Even NekoMika threatened to ban him from the BBS.
