Ah, what better way to say Happy New Year with your internet constantly going out and your tablet not charging at all (I really need to get that thing fixed..).
So, I guess instead of "New Year's resolutions", I'm instead going to challenge myself to see if I actually work on, finish, and publish all the tracks I want to make this year (+ some extras if I'm screwing around and I find an idea I like).
-The list of these songs/projects are not in order-
I want to finish working on Lunar Energy. That will be a melodic(?) drumstep song.
I want to finish working on Dinosaurs. That will be a riddim song (basically dubstep, 140 BPM).
I probably should revisit my liquid DnB song, Polar Ice. As soon as I find a good breakdown for it, it will move very quickly.
I want to make this electro song, _____e ___e. I found some bass loops and synths that will mix perfectly.
I have two collaborations going. One will be an original electro song and the other will be a VIP of .:This is the End:. So, of course, I want those to be finished this year.
I have a glitch hop song in the works, and I want to work on it but if anything I'll end up releasing it to the audio portal as an attempt at glitch hop.
I have an idea for a new dubstep song, G_____ _ S____. But I don't even have any ideas on how I want the project to go. Maybe it could be a demo of my work to show to other websites.
I could probably rework my remix of Raining Lake, and then revise all the mixing before posting it.
I also want to make a drumstep remix of _us__ __m___.
Not to mention, I might, JUST MIGHT try my hand at remixing without a midi file. I have a few songs I could choose, but I honestly don't know how it will end up.
I also want to VIP some of my tracks, but who knows if I'll ever get around to it and what songs.
This is a lot of tracks right here. Loosely, it's about 12. 12 tracks per year which would be about one month per track. School's going to weigh down a lot of that time, so I can already tell some of these will not be done. And who knows if I'll only do two collabs, maybe more people will want to or the artists I'm already working with may want to do more than one. 12 tracks is just an estimate. Some of these are half done, so this does seem like a slightly realistic goal. I'm up for the challenge.
There's one more project I want to do and I honestly need some interest on it before I even start to work on it. I found this channel that features all of the unreleased songs from Virtual Riot on YouTube. There's many unfinished tracks on there and I thought of making a mashup of some of them to make one song. This won't be entirely VR's work, since I have his sample pack I could probably add a few things myself and try to make it to work to sound like one track. I know many are turned off by mashup's (unless it was the Panda Eyes and Virtual Riot one that I see posted on here constantly), which is why I'm hesitiant on doing it. I need some interest because I certainly don't want to waste my time that I could be using for these 12 original compositions/remixes for a mashup nearly nobody will listen to. It can't be on Newgrounds, and I'm not even sure SoundCloud would let me post it. It would probably be a YouTube exclusive (and yes I'm aware my remixes can't go up here either, but hopefully there's a chance SoundClous will let me post those).
By the end of this year, I hope to come back to this post and see how much of this I got done, it will be a lot.

If you want we could collab more than once we could. :p
I expect to release 1-3 songs per month.

I'm not prepared to do 3 songs a month. Especially when I need to get back to studying in school.
