This is the End, New Alias, Future Works?

Posted by BlueAlpha14 - November 11th, 2016

Yeah, my new track is here! I spent a lot of time making this in its current state, go check it out.

This track was mainly practice. I'm still not good with many things, and I still have so much to learn. However, I wanted to release something new for a change and finally show where my current music experience is. It's only getting better from here.

My name change will take place sometime this weekend. I need to see if I can change my name on all platforms, and I also need to create a new profile photo. I'm not popular enough to verify hiring a graphic artist so I'm resorting to my photo editor instead.

And to keep this simple, I have a few projects I'm working on. I wanted some opinions on if I should do them.

So far I have:

-A drumstep remix of a video game song (I'm not saying what the song is).

-A sorta ambient/dubstep remix of a video game song ("    "    "    ").

-A short drum and bass track for practice.

-A 110 BPM VIP (Variation in Production in case you don't know what that stands for) of one of my older dubstep tracks.

The drumstep remix is more complicated than I thought. I'm probably going to get stuck on the drop a lot. The ambient remix is going to be good. It's 70 BPM, which I don't know if that's a typical ambient tempo (someone said ambient is 25 BPM, but there's no way in hell I'm going THAT slow) but 70 is half of 140 and if I want to give it a dubstep twist I was told 70 is like 140 BPM. The 110 BPM track I can tell I'm going to have problems making a drop. And eh, I'm not real confident about the DnB track..

What do you think?

A. Dude hang up the dubstep stuff for a while and make DnB.

B. Ambient/Dubstep? Eh.. I'm curios..

C. I like fast stuff so drumstep ye.

D. Variation is good, so yeah work on the 110 thing.

E. iT'S TIME TO STOP making music you suck at it

F. (your answer)

The thing that is going to suck about the remixes is I can't post them here due to Newgrounds rules. It makes it less convenient because I don't want to be one of those "Bruh check out my SoundCloud" people, despite that's where I put my free downloads if anyone wants them.

See you soon,

~Alpha

I think you should try ambient/dubstep or dnb. Simply something new you haven't tried yet.

I'm pretty confident in the ambient remix. Currently I'm just messing around with random stuff.
