Yeah liquid dnb is nice. If you want some liquid dnb songs to get inspiration i can tell you some. I'm already creating dnb beat by myself and i can taught you how to do it.
One track of mine was about 5:30 but when i exported it, it was 8:04 long with one and half minute of silence. I think you should do both hard and soft music, it will make your production more interesting :)
