These are times when I wonder if I have a hearing disorder...

A couple people hated the track preview I posted. I literally went through every sound and tried modulating it better and changing the notes and literally it sounds worse if I do that. The only thing I can think of is how the arrangement is laid out. I'm starting to really rethink this whole music thing if people have a strong dislike towards certain aspects of my tracks and I somehow cannot understand where they're coming from on their statements.

I hadn't listened to your recent track preview before you pulled it (put a newer version up and i'll review it :)) but I doubt it's that bad. Melodies aren't just a single track though, I used to make the mistake of creating two good melodies that sounded fine by themselves but together weren't very good. Then again, not writing melodies to a scale don't sound very good. Hope this helps. ^^

Be sure to read the desc.

I'm not sure if by "melody" they mean the little arp thing before the drop or the pad during the drop. I get that not many people are talented in descriptive reviews but what the heck do they mean?

that sucks bro

so I listened to the preview (scrap or keep) and... there are exactly 2 sounds. Pad and bass. Repeated a few times. Now I'm not sure if you are a troll or something, but that's not WIP, that's just... nothing. Everybody can do that in like 7 seconds. WIP should be e.g. a part of drop or some interesting section of the track

also, WIPs suck.. especially if you only rely on other people's opinions to continue working on the thing.. Try making whole tracks.. if you get stuck and don't know how to continue, just start working on something else

I really want to facepalm so hard right now but I guess it was my mistake for not mentioning I pulled my last preview.

And you know what screw you, if I was a troll I'd be doing much more lowkey stuff like earrape or my audio would bluntly sound like I'm not even trying. @JK-FlipFlop has heard tons of troll songs and I'm sure he could tell you the difference between an idea that I had that I didn't invest too much time in and a troll song.

Yeah, well I do rely on opinions. I'll be completely honest with you. I'd be lost if I didn't have feedback. Feedback on my WIP's tells me if I'm wasting my time or investing it. Like, I'm considering scrapping my WIP I just pulled because I have more hate than interest. Time is a valuable aspect to me, and it's literally a pet peeve when I waste time.

Not that I'm going to blame you for not knowing everything about me, but I should inform you that up until .:This is the End:. I wasn't relying on public opinion for feedback. I only had 2 people I showed my previous WIP's though, and that's because they're both very intelligent, they both know what they're doing, and they both knew if I had a note placed incorrectly or I messed something up. Maybe someday in the future when I get really good at this and I won't need feedback every step of the way I won't release WIP's.
